Summary

  • This resource consists of a growing list of lesson plan ideas and resources for high school and college students learning about business ethics. Instructors should be familiar with various forms of private sector involvement in social causes, as well as the different theories of business ethics (e.g., shareholder vs. stakeholder theory, corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, and sustainable business practices). Each lesson plan includes activities, background reading, background multimedia, and related ethical questions.

How to use

  • The resources provided can be integrated into traditional lectures (e.g. introduction to business ethics theories, exploration of sustainable business practices), in workshops (e.g. interactive ethical decision-making, group discussion of ethical dilemmas…) and in individual or group assignments.

Lesson/Teaching Plans
