Summary

These teaching resources support faculty in developing changemaker mindsets and skills in students. The Changemaker Canvas transforms abstract ideas into concrete action plans, helping students move from vision to implementation. The Changemaker Index is a diagnostic tool that identifies whether students’ primary strength lies in mindset, leadership, or action—enabling targeted development. The Book Club Discussion Guide provides chapter-by-chapter prompts for discussing “Becoming a Changemaker” in classroom or group settings. All resources are free and designed to make change leadership accessible. Companies and universities worldwide use these materials to build shared learning communities.

How to use

Faculty can integrate these resources into existing curricula or standalone workshops. Use the Canvas for project-based courses. Deploy the Index at course start to help students understand their changemaker profile, then tailor assignments to strengthen weaker areas. The Discussion Guide works for book clubs, seminar courses, or professional development sessions with colleagues. Each resource requires minimal preparation and adapts to various contexts. Download materials directly from the site. No special training needed: the tools are self-explanatory and immediately applicable to classroom use.

Teaching format tip

Book

Support sustained engagement with complex ideas through structured reflection and discussion. Students should develop deep understanding while connecting themes to personal and professional contexts. Use books to encourage contemplative learning and long-term intellectual development.

Digital canvas

Establish collaborative frameworks for shared creation and knowledge building. Students should contribute meaningfully while developing digital literacy and collaborative skills. Use digital platforms to extend learning beyond classroom boundaries and encourage creative expression.

Tool

Demonstrate effective usage while encouraging experimentation and adaptation. Students should develop technical competencies and understand appropriate applications for different contexts. Use tools to enhance learning capabilities while building confidence with professional resources and methodologies.
